鄭以勤醫師親自為自己做全大腸鏡檢查，20分鐘完成後，還可以繼續當天工作。 圖╱鄭以勤提供 分享 facebook 王先生今年60歲身體一向硬朗，年初開始解便時不時會混著血絲，本來以為是過年期間東西吃太多上火導致痔瘡發作，但在家人勸說下還是來到醫院檢查，沒想到一檢查卻發現直腸裡有好大一顆腫瘤，為了治療不得不提早考慮退休事宜。鄭以勤醫師(台安醫院胃腸肝膽科主治醫師)。 分享 facebook 內視鏡發現瘜肉即切除李先生今年一樣60歲，雖然沒生過什麼大病，但定期接受健康檢查。4年前因為糞便潛血反應陽性接受大腸鏡檢查，在乙狀結腸發現2公分瘜肉，利用內視鏡切除後發現是早期癌，目前已痊癒，僅需定時追蹤即可。. } }); } 早在18世紀就有醫學界的前輩嘗試運用透鏡、各式儀器進行消化道的檢查，然而當年技術仍未成熟，這樣的檢查往往讓病人痛得呼天喊地。1984年美國Welch－Ally公司發明了電子內視鏡使得消化道影像的存取更加便利，隨著光纖科技的突飛猛進與各式內視鏡治療技術的發展，目前已經能夠用內視鏡切除許多腸胃道內的瘜肉甚至是早期癌。腫瘤愈早發現預後愈好而大腸癌能夠愈早發現腫瘤就愈能夠有更好的預後，王先生與李先生就是最好的對照，王先生接著可能必須面對大手術與術後的化療；而李先生在內視鏡切除瘜肉並由病理檢驗證實檢體後即痊癒，不需追加手術2018熱門產品選購指南或化學治療。國外有研究發現大腸鏡的問世與介入治療，已經降低大腸癌死亡率達六成之多。大腸鏡檢查仍有些許風險，大規模統計發現，大腸鏡造成腸穿孔的機率約為萬分之六，而檢查過程可能造成的不適也讓許多人畏懼大腸鏡。新儀器與技術有長足進步台灣在引進各式新儀器與技術後，檢查的安全性與舒適性已經有長足進步，目前主流的大腸鏡已經愈細愈短，臨床上接受無麻醉大腸鏡而滿意檢查過程的人也愈來愈多。典型大腸癌是由瘜肉經年累月成長並經過癌化過程而致，若能夠在瘜肉階段早期發現、早期移除就能夠避免大腸癌發生，呼籲五十歲以上，符合大腸癌篩檢的民眾應該定期接受免費糞便潛血檢查，必要時並接受大腸鏡檢查確認腸道健康狀況。
